Another question... is the last stable version for kobo the one found following the link in the first post (2015.09) or the one found on vlasovsoft forum (2015.12)?
Without any doubt 2015.12 and I recommend also install the eink.qss file that you can found in the same forum.

I'm a new user of Cool Reader, and I like it :-)

Just a question : is it possible to "force" the font while keeping the other inner styles of the book ? I made some changes in the cr3.ini and the einq.qss files, but I don't know if it's possible at all...

I mean, to use the internal styles of the epub file except for the font name.
If I check "internal styles", the font specified in Menu-Settings-Styles-Font is not used. But I'd like to if it's possible.

The CSS that the author/publisher put into the epub may have defined a font as "default" or "!important" and, for that epub, the font won't be overwritten by latter settings. Normally, later CSS will override earlier ones, and the font selection can be changed in the reading software.

Luck;
Ken

custom font / css modification

Thanks Ken!
I had a look on the style.css of the epub file. It only specifies "font-family:Georgia,serif;" in the "p" tag.
I modified the epub.css file of CR, but all the modifications (font-family, margin etc.) don't seem to be taken into account by CR. Maybe I missed something!

Finally found a solution by editing the css included in the epub file. I removed the font-name specified in it. Now I can change the font as I want.

A very small suggestion of improvement: could the sleepcover respect the aspect ratio of the displayed wallpaper image ?

Coolreader is a great tool. Much more reactive that the original Kobo interface. And it manages well a big library (the file manager is very effective)!

Hi!

Thanks!

If we respect the aspect ratio then some white (or black) areas will appear above-below the image. Better solution: you can prepare your own images with your aspect ration and put them into "sleep" folder.

Hi! Thanks for your quick reply and your great work!

I don't know for others, but some black areas around the cover wouldn't be a problem for me. To change all covers is a very big work (and I would have to do it once again if future ebook readers hadn't the same aspect ratio).

Precision : I've chosen to display the cover of the book I'm reading on the wallpaper.

I have just come across the option to show the current book cover as a sleep screen, I think this is a great feature Sergey, thank you so much for all your work on making coolreader the best reader for kobo!

Hi, I think you can't. But you can add a bookmark to a whole page.
