Cool Reader for Kobo

I have some questions... Installation of these apps is connected with rooting my Kobo device? Is it the same type of root like on Android? If I install pbchess, my guarantee will expire? Thanks

No "rooting" is required for Kobo devices. Any changes made to the operation of the kobo devices will be removed by a "factory restore/reset". Since a factory reset will be a step that the Kobo Customer Service will require before a return under the provisions of the guarantee, I don't see how any additional 3rd party software could effect the use of the guarantee.

In addition to that, a great many have added both the pbchess package with Coolreader and have added KOReader and use them right along with the stock software.

Ok. I solved it modifying more deeply all the css files inside the data folder. I still don't know if the epub.css is the only one responsible for changing the format in the epub files (I would assume so, but I am not sure since I was having problems with it). In the end I have used the style that I like in all the css files. Important modifications:

p { text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.2em; margin-top:0em; margin-bottom: 0.4em }
.justindent { text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.2em; margin-top:0em; margin-bottom: 0.4em }

I also added the margin-bottom value in all the styles in my cr3.ini

I installed this pbchess and choosed "Polish" language...

I run Notepad...

And my national keyboard is... RUSSIAN. Why??? I need ą, ć, ę, ł, ń, ś, ż, ź.

Can somebody fix it?? Please.

Nobody has provided the polish keyboard so far. I can do it quickly in the next build if you make polish keyboard. Please see kbd.txt file for more details. It contains English to national character mapping. Please contact me if you can help.

I've followed the link in the first post, but it seems that they only point to pbchess, not CoolReader. Also on vlasovsoft->CoolReader forum all the links refer to pbchess.

PBChess is a sort of suite of applications. It includes a very good chess, a sudoku, other games, several tools AND Coolreader. It doesn't exist as an independent app, you must install the whole pack. Don't worry, it is not big.

Another question... is the last stable version for kobo the one found following the link in the first post (2015.09) or the one found on vlasovsoft forum (2015.12)?
