Personally i don't own H20 (Glo user here) so i've never used the fix/can't test it, but according to the thread on official Vlasov forum you're doing it right.
Probably you're not running most recent 2015.05 build from May 24th?
And it worked for nook_nerd a post above, so probably it's something on your side.

Open the file vlasovsoft/cr3/cr3.ini again with notepad ++. Make sure there is a paragraph after margin_top=11 (hit the return key). Save the file.

Then take a look at the second cr3.ini located in vlasovsoft/cr3/data/cr3.ini. There find something like crengine.display.full.update.interval. The value should be > than zero, e.g.

crengine.display.full.update.interval=6

In this example the display should refresh every six pages.

Edit: In the vlasovsoft forum someone posted that

margin_top=20

did the trick for the H2O.

This is a cross-post to the koreader - cool reader thread, for the same problem that I have with both of them (I think they use the same epub engine..).

The problem is that when I read an epub that uses proportional and monospaced fonts the monospaced are much bigger than my chosen proportional fonts.
So how can I change the monospaced font?
Can I rename my chosen monospaced font with the name of my favorite font family and make the reader use them instead?
If so, with what name.

Any other way?

i have installed cool reader on Aura h2o but night mode is not possible with cool reader, this is really necessary..

You should be able to have night mode. If you go to Settings/Control there should be an option (28) for Toggle Inversion which is night mode.

I have it working on my H2O.
