hi sergeyvl in CR3, would it be possible to open the dictionary panel from the top aalso?
then it would be possible to open it down side with a down to up swipe, and to open it from the top side with a up to down swipe.
it would prevent some ghosting.
also to have the dictionary following the night and day mode would be enjoyable for the eyes
i guess a double tap or long tap on any word to display dictionary is a big job..

last wish, i alway read without header or footer, and if i want to know time or battery level, its not very practical. is it possible to have it on the menu or any other fast way with do not need to caculate the number of page with or without the header?
thank you.

I have the command which toggles the display of the header on one of the nine tap zones (the center top tap zone), this gives me easy access to battery status, reading %, and time.

It's an option in the tap zones menu called "toggle header" (or something similar).

I have this assigned to a long tap to be able to check from time to time.

Yes, it's under Settings->Control->Tap Zones.

Just selected a zone which suites you, and change its function to 29 Toggle Header.

Annotations and page left of chapter

Are these features planned in Cool Reader?
1. Annotations to words (highlights, notes). This function would be pretty important in my point of view.
2. In the status line it would be very nice to show the page left in the chapter. For example page left from the book/page left from the chapter/book page number. Many times I would decide by this if I have time to finish the chapter or I should stop reading where I am.
Thanks!

Is there any workaround/patch to fix this? Or can I disable the auto-sleep feature in coolreader?

You can disable the sleep feature by setting it to 0 in the launcher.

Thank you for your reply. Besides, I find out sometime coolreader lost the 'reading progress' of the book I currently read after I perform some actions at all(such that toggle header, close/open another book). It's hard to reproduce the problem as it happens randomly, is anybody face similar problem before?

Hi,
I am trying to establish a usb network connnection to my Kobo Aura HD, using CR3.
I am ruńning Ubuntu Linux and my ifconfig shows:

usb0 Link encap:Ethernet Hardware Adresse 46:0d:9e:67:69:eb
inet Adresse:192.168.2.100 Bcast:192.168.2.255 Maske:255.255.255.0

TX-Pakete:44 Fehler:0 Verloren:0 Überläufe:0 Träger:0
Kollisionen:0 Sendewarteschlangenlänge:1000
RX-Bytes:0 (0.0 B) TX-Bytes:10123 (10.1 KB)

ping for 192.168.2.100 works

So what exactly do I have to do to establish a connection ti the kobo file system?? SSH ? Username? Password??

Sorry for my ignorance

If that ifconfig output above is from the host PC, then 192.168.2.100 is the IP of the host PC itself (on the usb0 interface), not the Kobo's.

Hello,

I've installed KSM with CoolReader and KoReader on my new Aura H2O with some given patches. Everything's fine but the statusbar on Cool Reader: it is way too small.

Is there any option to set the statusbar's high (the one showing the title and the progress bar)? I've checked the wiki, but found nothing.

Also:
- any plans to put the project on Github ?
- to add scripting capabilities (whatever the language is : js, python, lua, ruby) ?

Thanks in advance.

I remember my kobo as 192.168.2.101 using WinSCP and PuTTY, tith the launcher's USBnet.
