Hi guys,
i am new to ereaders and to koreader, i got myself a Kobo Libra h20 a few days ago. I was trying to learn all the options in my koreader until i reach to the "developer options" and i believe that i may have change some of them by mistake, i have tried to find something in the documentation but it seems that is non existant, i am trying to find the original/stock configuration for that developer options or an explanation on what each of them does. so i have this ones active at the moment: -Disable SW dithering. -Bypass the WAIT_FOR ioctls -Enable CRE call cache (With stats). thank you in advance for any help ![]() ![]() |

![]() I think CRE call cache is the only one that's enabled by default, but not with statistics (that's a long-press toggle, kind of unique and unexpected in the UI). |

I just discovered a great use for the Autoturn feature! No need to mask up and go outside for my exercise now, woohoo

I'd just put on a podcast (or an audiobook) or something.

Got my Sage today, looks like 2021.10.1 doesn't work with it (just crashes and goes back to the Kobo home screen on launch).
1. Is it expected to not work right now, or should it work and I'm doing something wrong? 2. Is there any useful information I could provide that would help out anyone who's working on making it work? |

In a bit more detail, we don't currently have any kind of generic device or autodetection because they're just too different.

If you're willing to play around a bit, find the .adds/koreader/frontend/device/kobo/device.lua file, and replace these lines:
https://github.com/koreader/koreader...ua#L1006-L1007 with: Code:
elseif codename == "cadmus" then return KoboEuropa You could try the same thing for several of the older models (going up from the bottom), but presumably the Elipsa is the best bet. |

I have a Kobo Libra H2O that I've been running KOReader on after liking it on an older Kindle Paperwhite but I seem to have some trouble waking it occasionally, requiring a long hold on the power button to shut it off. Has anyone bumped into this and found a potential fix? If not, I'll probably just head over to the GitHub and post a formal issue but I don't get a crash, just an unresponsive sleep.

@frailtyy: The Clara/Forma/Libra lineup is subject to potentially weird and random (-ish) kernel crashes (that the Libra 2 may inherit: surprise!
![]() It's the first time I've heard of it happening during sleep, though. A verbose debug log might help (but it probably won't). I've been unable to pull out anything usefull (or, well, at all) out of my Forma when it crashes (I fear it'd require live serial access at the time). |

@all: I'll look into the Sage sometime next week (fnac failed to deliver mine on release day
![]() Much like what happened with the Libra 2 over in the Kobo forum, I expect things to mostly work, we just have to figure out the native rotation. (Unfortunately, the tools I recommended to do that on the Libra 2 don't really do anything useful on sunxi SoCs, so, better just wait. Unless someone wants to get me a strace of nickel ![]() Oh, I also fully expect Wi-Fi to require extra weird shenanigans in at least one of those. |
