Frenzie, since I've a lot of huge pdf's, another question that's not related to this tread: is there a better, more powerful ebook reader available that has the same hardware qualities as the old kobo aura (6", no bezel, ext. 64 GB microSD, adaptable to Koreader)?

Most recent models are broken by design (i.e., no microSD slot) so I don't really know otoh. Maybe the Cervantes models still have it?

another request for pdf reading which all pdf readers for PC can accomplish: "go to page". Some pdf's have letters, A,B,C or Roman numerals as page no., or in the midst photos "p001, p002" etc. The koreader only counts from 1 to 9999

Whenever I finish a book, come to the last page, I return to file browser. Is there a way to automatically remove the sdr folder which at the moment remains and which I have to remove manually within my Windows explorer?

If it isn't yet, I'm fairly sure there's a FR about just that open on GitHub. |

Doesn't the SDR also remove when you delete the file through KOReader? Or only if you "Clear SDR" or whatever it's called?

"Delete file" through KOReader is not an option, because I store all my books on my microSD card.

I get the following commands at the end of the book: cancel, book status, delete file, open next file, filebrowser There's no "IIRC". So what I'd like is: "delete sdr folder and open file browser" (this isn't that important. It's only when I synch the files on my PC with those on the ebook reader, I look at them next to each other, and all those SDR folders annoy.) Another again totally minor suggestion: I like to read epubs with the full progress bar on top. That isn't possible for pdf's |

There are "long press" options for the entry in History. I also have my ebooks in a "hidden" file structure, on my external SD card. I haven't checked but I think it is now deleting the SDR along with the ebook file.

Not sure that purging deletes the file, I think it just returns it to how it was when originally created. There is a "Delete" button provided there, as well, I don't see the logic for both, unless purging does something less than deleting the whole file.

I'm unclear as to why "delete file" isn't practical in your case, unless you meant that the sd card is your *primary* storage location for those books (as in, they're not copied from a full library hosted somewhere else, which sounds a bit insane, but, hey, to each their own

).And, no, no top status bar on PDF, as that's a CRe feature .
