Thanks, I did download it and will try later on. I think I have to just copy it to the SD-Card?

The "why" is because the Glo quite on me a few weeks ago. No responding whatsoever. I did charge it, fiddled (...) a lot with the lightbutton and the powerswitch and eventually it showed lights...green, blue. And then nothing. Did once suddendly start, but hanged later on. The other day I took out the SDcard and put the update firmware on to it. Didn't do anything, but did charge it. Yesterday there was life, but comfortlight on and hanged on language selection. Let it drain and then charged it again. This morning it showed the update installed and could read some pages, but hanged as soon a I put it to sleep.

So, I think something is wrong with the card programming. Otherwise I think it might be hardware-related and I don't want that...

Did order a second hand Glo HD in the meantime, that takes te pressure of it. But I really like the Glo. It's light, it has a nice light and very good reading for kebup (not so much for PDF..).

Thanks and I think I let you here my experiences. If you know another solution, I listen.

YOu need to write the image to the card. See Memory Upgrade Mod Guide for some instructions.

Some of that sounds like what happened with my Glo. Weird flakiness, but never a refusal to turn on. After a while I replaced the internal SD card, and it was fine again.

If you like the Glo, you'll love the Glo HD.

Hi,

Thanks for the replies. I indeed did find the imagewriter in the seconds after last reply. But it hangs on both cards (original and a 16GB I had laying around). I'm trying the tester at the moment. I fear they are both not healthy...

I need to order a lot of things before the new schoolyear starts, so why not a microSD...

As said, I will comment here.
