I had the same problem as @Wojciech but mine went back to the shop, the USB interface must have been broken for good...

I have tried a different (Android-)System on my glo. First it seems all right. But after a short time (perhaps a few weeks), it was suddenly absolutely dead. No clue why. No reset brought my glo back to live. I searched and googled the internet up and down. Tried this and that. No success. Now I found this forum. You are my last hope.
May I please also have the link. Many thanks.

thanks for the link
with the old sd-card, after reset kobo flash blue one time and 8 time green... and nothing happens
with the new flash one, kobo flash blue one time and 18 time green... but nothing on screen
Is there someting else to do or is it the end ? ((

Try charging it and then doing a factory reset using the buttons. The charging is important as some of the problems that appear to be a bricked device are really the device getting into some sort of loop. That will run the battery down and there is no external indication of what is happening.

Once it is charged for a while:

- Make sure the device is off by holding the power slider in the off position for about 20 seconds.
- Hold the light button down and switch it on.
- Release the light button when the LED starts flashing.

If that doesn't work, try it again but hold everything a bit longer.

The other thought is to check you didn't disconnect anything when you had it apart and that the SD card was inserted properly.
