I've just tried it on a book that should be couponable in the UK and it hasn't worked.

Hmm. I get a different error for CA50SALE and GET50SALE than I do for UK50SALE (it was worth a try), which implies that it recognises the codes but won't apply them to this book. I tried birthdaykobo from the first post and it worked fine.

The same thing happened to me with US50SALE when the Canada code went up. Now of course it's moot, here.

Hmm. If Kobo had a proper wish list function, I might actually be able to remember some of the books I might be interested in buying with that coupon.

I do just go over to Amazon and use the wishlist there a lot, but often can't be bothered--I don't want the book that badly, or I figure I'll notice it when my local library gets it in and grab it there, etc. By the time I actually have a decent Kobo coupon opportunity I usually have no idea what to do with it.

I use GR and Amazon lists because, yeah, you are so right. Wishlists are needed!

I do use a separate Amazon wishlist, but on Kobo I also 'save preview' which adds the book to my library, then move it to Trash to create a list. Not really ideal, either...

Only 3 countries play the Contest, so I can understand Kobo giving the other countries 50% off.

They run a lot of promos that aren't even this visible. I'm sure I don't see them all as an associate either, but I assume that some of the deals they run have the big publishers behind them--their daily deal, for example (someone has to be sponsoring that) and then there's the secondary daily deal and various other books they highlight. If and when I get their email (I'm signed up, but I don't seem to get it more than once a month) there are deals in there too. I've seen two facebook ads this week (5 dollar sign up bonus) and...I don't remember the other one. Maybe the contest isn't that popular so they are attempting to reach other readers?

Does anyone have a US link for the list of books you can get free for the Kobo super points VIP membership? Their page has a more info link that still doesn't give you a link.
