A few pages back someone mentioned that all coupons are accepted in the Afghanistan store, and I have a couple of questions about that.
Firstly, what currency does that store use? I looked up a book that is $9.99 in the US store and it was $14.40 in the Afghani store. Is that US dollars? XE.com tells me the use Afghan Afghani currency in Afghanistan but that cant be what Kobo is using as that converts to only 22c US.
Secondly, I tried a 20% coupon from the contest to see if it would work and got the same 'coupon cannot be applied message I get on the US site, so do I assume the code is a dud or are not all coupons accepted at all? I dont want to risk losing my only decent codes by trying them and then having them not work when I want to buy.

Okay, the Afghani site is in USD, same as Norfolk Island and Singapore, etc.

Also, the Contest codes shouldn't work there if Kobo is still only permitting them to be used in the countries where you can play the Contest, ie. UK CA US

For info, all ebooks on the Afghani site should be discountable, like India, Singapore etc

(But do expect the NSA and all other spy agencies to be following traffic into and out of that country )

Now see, I was just thinking that something was wrong (more than usual) with Kobo because for all of the last contest and so far in this one I haven't gotten a code larger than 35%.

Thanks for the 75% code. I was finally able to afford a book that Kobo charges twice what everywhere else charges.
