It only works for two of the three books I have in my basket; one of those I put in to test a coupon from the contest, one I plucked from the "eligible titles" list, and the next one in the series I'm currently reading. You can guess which one didn't work.

Sure it does, if they're from publishers that allow discounting. Unfortunately a lot of the DRM'd stuff you'll find is also from publishers who insist on DRM.

Early this morning (E Australia time) I multi-tabbed four books with the SALE50 code. The second to fourth got an 'Oops' error message at the final purchase stage, I only received an email receipt for the first title, but all four appeared in my Kobo library. In other words, SALE50 behaved like any single-use code. Later I successfully bought a fifth discountable book using that same code and got a receipt.

SALE50 is a multi-use code. I added 11 discountable books to my cart and entered the code, and it took 50% off all 11 books, no multi-tabbing tricks needed.

I haven't bothered to try it at Spain. If the other European countries are like this, no discount are allowed over 5% (or 10% at some special dates).

I may escape unscathed from the siren call of the 50% discount at that. Kobo won't let me stack my store credit (from using Visa checkout) with the code, and the books I want still seem pretty pricey for a cash outlay of 50%. I'm going to let them languish on my wishlist for now and save the store credit for agency books that won't discount.
