sorry to hear that someone complained. that sucks. especially when you're being generous. I'm sure you've noticed, i often post codes of low value, as well as any better codes i don't intend to use, for just the same reason as you, some people WANT them. And having to respond to PMs for low value codes, or forcing people to create an MR account, never seemed like a good solution to me.

Anyway, i just wanted to show my support, and say i do the same thing for the same reason. I'm sorry that someone's harassment soured your feelings about sharing on the forum. Some people have to ruin things for everyone, no matter where they are.

btw, i haven't received any such PMs, but maybe that's because I've had less time to post this contest, than in previous contests.

hopefully, the annonymous PMer will realise their mistake in assuming everyone felt the same as them, and let people post whatever codes they are generous enough to spend their free time posting, without trying to make them feel bad about it.

I posted all my unused codes no matter what they were because I used to lurk this thread a lot and would use any discount I could when I had an ebook I wanted to buy. Even if it was just 10 or 20 percent.

Yes, I use Amazon for the wishlist, and it's not TOO much of a pain going back and forth between two sites, but it just makes me look at how much cheaper they are there

Thanks everyone for the support, and I would like to make it clear that I never for a moment even considered it was Lynx-lynx. Not only is it simply not their style (Lynx-lynx is far too lovely for that sort of carry on) but it English is obviously not the sneaks first language.
But its in the past and over with now.

For my wishlist, I have a folder titled Wanted on my toolbar and bookmark the books page on Kobo or Amazon or where ever I first see it online and save it in the folder. However it usually only ever has yet to be released books in it. I rarely buy books just for the sake of it and if its a book I want, I either buy it immediately or download it from somewhere. Usually if I find a book I want to buy, I want it now and am too impatient to wait until I have a good code, so often I have nothing to use codes on and give them all away.
