Deleted the latest Kobo email by accident, but I think the code was for 40% off debut titles, not sure if it would apply to others or just certain list. The code was: debut40

Just purchased a bunch this past week and can't really find anymore that are non-restricted. Maybe someone who can use this could let us know if it applies to certain list or not...

Crap, uh well then you won't probably be seeing me here again for a whole year... 135 books purchased and maybe 1/4 read... and the only reason I don't have more is because most of the books on my preview list don't allow discounts

You definitely need to join our support group for ebook buying addicts.

I have successfully reduced my TBR list from 440 in June 2011 down to 316 now. I'm aiming for sub-300 by the end of the year. If I can keep going, I'll have my TBR down to a manageable size by mid 2015(!)

I am really bad I have bought nearly 3000 books in the last couple years. 255 of those are from Kobo. I want to say I am doing much better this year. I've bought 436 books this year with 30 being from Kobo. 300 of those are from the Harlequin once in lifetime coupon so I say they don't count.

So really I've bought 136 books so far this year which is much better in the past years.

Let's just say my TBR list is really, really, really long

Looks like ac4auto45 is working again. I've used it once a week during the month of August (3, 7, 15). Hopefully the trend will keep up.

I feel much better about my purchasing now. There are only 60 books in my Kobo account: 11 are freebies and 1 was purcdhased a couple of years ago. The rest were purchased since February 2012 (although I am buying faster than I'm reading). I have a few freebies in my Sony account and I think I've only purchased one book there. I have a bunch of freebies in my Amazon and Nook accounts although I've only purchased a few (6-12) from each. I check out ebooks from my libraries, though: I live on the county line, so I have accounts at both county libraries.

I'm not saying my TBR list is short, though.

My problem is all my paper books that I can't afford to replace with ebooks (if they're even available).

Agreed, I just used it for the second time. Finally broke down and bought the Wool omnibus after reading so many great things about it here.

My TBR pile grows, purchased or not. Is it wrong to feel you HAVE to take advantage of 45% off?

Don't even want to talk about 500+ in my Amazon freebie pile...

And even with my book addiction, or because of it, my pricepoint for buying books stops around the $8 mark, so I keep waiting for the publishers to lower the prices on about 30 books I really want!

I don't understand, I haven't been able to re-use it at all, for months. I'm in Canada, in case that makes a difference (though that's rarely a downside when it comes to Kobo codes). What gives?
