Well I though I would go through my Kobo receipts and see how much I have saved using the discount codes... So far I have saved $66.73

That's about another 7 books I was able to buy.

So far I have bought 106 books with an average price of $7 (includes tax) Buying all those books in paperback would have cost about $1060.00. ePubs from Kobo cost me $742.00 - $66.73 for a total of $675.27 a $384.73 savings over paperback.

Now mind you I didn't use a discount code on every book purchased as a good deal of my books were purchased before I found out about this thread so I could have saved a lot more. Now why the heck would I buy so many books and spend so much money... I've been replacing my Star Wars paperback collection with ePubs and I am hoping to sell off the paperbacks and recoup some of the money spent on them.

Thank you Kobo for the decent epub pricing (excluding the fixed prices set by the publishers) and please keep the discount codes coming

GIFTREAD is an old coupon code but it just worked for me in Canada.

GIFTREAD is good for 25% off.

First poster here, thanks for the work keeping the coupon codes up to date.

On that note, the DIAMOND coupon code is no longer valid. But I can confirm that the FirstRead code appears to be working.

Thanks!
ps. I love my Playbook

Some codes for a Cyber Monday Sale. I'll just link to the relevant page, it's easier.

Problems with cybermonday codes?

Anybody else having problems using these codes? I followed the 60% off link and found a book I liked...code was rejected. I tried all the other codes...none would work. I then noticed that some of the books that appeared in the 60% off list also appeared under the list of other discount codes, and that some of the books in the 60% off list were appear to NOT be from OpenRoad....

I've had similar problems with their website before...also noticed that one of the books listed as fiction is a biography and another book from the "for those who are always learning (aka non fiction) is a fictional novel.

Not the first time I've noticed sloppy coding on the website...

I bought two books. One with 50% off, the other with 30% off. I kept getting processing errors on book one and an instruction to please try again. At the end of it, I was charged three times for that book. I have purchased about 150 books from Kobo and this is the first time something like this has happened. Cyber-Monday?

In any case, I wrote to help@kobobooks.com, reported the problem and quickly got an automated response. If I do not get a human response in two days, I will post the question reference number and the details of my complaint on getsatisfaction.com/kobo, the official support site for Kobo.

I found two of the books for cheaper in Kindle's sale. Exodus by Leon Uris was almost 6 bucks after the Kobo discount but is 2.99 on Amazon.

The Cyber coupons only work for the books that correspond to the links. Unlike previous coupons that work for any non agency book these are book specific.

I would argue that there are many biographies that are fiction; especially memoirs by politicians...
