Anything from Random House (I check the publisher's website first for the list of authors). If you like SF/Fantasy that includes Del Rey and Spectra. (Kevin Hearne and George Martin work, for instance.)

Anything from Harlequin works too... they publish more than romance - they also do some fantasy from their Luna line like Michelle Sagara and action adventure/military books through Gold Eagle like James Axler.

Independent ebook publishers usually work too.

I just got an email with the following code oct2thrillers20 the fine print stated the following.

Does anyone know if the various "oct2" codes actually act as different codes? Can you use each of them once, or just one of them?

Pookeysgirl: when we did that survey earlier in the month, our choices "triggered" which code we are getting by email now. All of them seem to work on any kind of (non-agency) book.

Next time we are tempted to complain about a lack of discount codes, we should remember this month. I bought 7 books with 20% off in Sept and a few more with smaller discounts.
