So this may not be the best place for this question, but... Is anyone else having trouble "gifting" books? I was trying to buy a book from the NZ store and gift it to another e-mail address, but when I select "Send as Gift" it just takes me to http://www.kobo.com/egiftcards, and talks about eGift cards.

Just use any made up email address and copy each code to notepad. Use a fake postcode if you're from outside the countries. I've done it about 60 times or more now with just random nonsense addresses, names and locations. It checks the validity of the post-code/zip-code but none of the rest of it. Make sure it's not a real email address or someone could use the code before you.

According to one of the twitter links in that thread, the gifting a book issue gets the same response as the egift card issue. They say the egift page is down and no ETA which would seem to indicate they will back at some point. Which was not the sense I got from my email response. I wish they would say definitively.
