Thanks. I'd had my auto-reneweal set to off and it was on. Turned it back to off.

My membership isn't up until end of January so will keep an eye on it.

Haven't seen one. Any regular coupon code works on VIP for a discount.

Last time I needed to renew, I bought the giftcard, got my free $10, and used that free $10 to renew my VIP.

There was one in September that I just missed out on and someone got an individual code emailed to them in October. I signed up for emails from them but they never sent me any. First company where I’ve opted in to promotional emails and didn’t immediately got bombarded by emails multiple times per day.

Nope. Seems like 24-36 hours for most of them. I've lost out on far too many deals by sleeping on them, and sometimes it seems like by the time I get the eReaderIQ notification, the deal is already over.

Sometimes they go longer. No clue what the calculus is behind that.

Only trick I've found is that Kobo has a section for "deals that end tonight", which at least lets me know they're about to end:

But that's about it, and I have no idea what all goes into that filter (i.e. if the book has to be a specific threshold of noteworthy for its sale to show up in the above).

In the end I just paid the 6 to renew as wanted 6 books in the 99p sale and got c1200 points as it was on 10 X points offer too
