I use 'honey' and 'retailMeNot' too. However, when Honey ran on Kobo it tried to use the 'myperk30' code (among others) and no discount was applied. When I entered it manually, I got the 30% discount. Makes me think I may be too reliant on the technology working.

Perkopolis worked once, MyPerk30 has worked 3 times. Kobo loaded for 24 hours of planes and airports...soon to be "ExpatBangladesh."

Sometimes when you use the "Honey" app at checkout, it will tell you that none of the codes work. But when you manually enter the codes (after Honey failed), sometimes you get the discount. I just did that (on the Canadian Kobo store) and got 40% off when I manually typed in the RAKUTEN40 code.

And by the way, I also used MYPERK30 which still works for me.

[edited to add] I don't always use the biggest codes at my disposal when I'm buying from some of my favourite authors. Sometimes I prefer to pay full price to support my favourite writers. I don't know if that's naive of me, but it makes me feel better.

Is there a way to search for books eligible for a specific promotion? I bought a book today and was surprised when it said "This book is eligible for 5X the Super Points", as I've received no email notification of such a promotion. I'd love to be able to search my default Kobo site for that promotion, it does not appear in the list of deals and promotions on the website.

I've stumbled on a couple of those as well. Sometimes an email turns up a bit late. Or I find it in the spam folder. But, usually, the notice is a link that will take you to the page for the promotion and that lists the books. They can sometimes be on the daily deals page.

I suspect that code only works for one per account. It wont work if you use twice.
