I had $5 appear in my US account instantly went off and spent it in case they change their mind and it disappears again I did not participate in the recent referal program but did in the 90% off refer a friend program this time last year.

My AU and NZ accounts have $5. I can only think that this money has something to do with the referral program of this time last year, but I can't remember how much the referring account was supposed to earn.

Hang about, I'm confusing the referral promos. Remember kobo did a 90% off refer a friend promo about this time last year - well I did that. But I'm not sure i've done a refer a friend for $5 promo ....

As others have said, it's just extraordinary that the money is put into an account and there's no accompanying explanatory email!
