Not that much difference, the image overwrites the entire card. For the most part, I tend to recommend using a new µSD card since they seem to be a weak point in the Kobo hardware.

Clara HD SD card no more booting
Hi.

I've been using my Clara for many years, but I cannot boot anymore and SD card contents cannot be recovered by USB Image Tool for example (checksum error).
Can you please send me the last iso available for Clara HD ?

Kobo Clara HD - Bricked during Restoring...
Hi, hoping someone can share the image for the Kobo Clara HD and instructions for imaging (ideally imaging from a mac... but if that's too much I'll find a PC).

Also - Did something happen today with the Clara HD - three request for Kobo Clara HD all on the same day seems like more than a random coincidence!?
