It's the pbook, but is interactive version 1.0. Some sections ask questions and even have spaces for you to fill in your answers. It's the time limited version and will expire at midnight on April 15th.

Well, I thought it was just going to be Suspense, but as it is now the 14th (and it is due on the 15th) it has turned into Horror.

Yup. But I guess it wasn't intended to fall into the 'feel good' category, ShootingMaNls. It doesn't get any more cheerful as you go on, but I'd advise you to stick with it. A lovely piece of gritty writing that will leave you thinking. It will also leave you desperately wondering, what next? It cries out for a sequel. Good luck. Neil

We had a discussion of 'The Road' last year. Perhaps you might interested in it after you've finished the book. https://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?t=61009

This is an incredible book! One of the best I've ever read. On the surface it may depressing but in reality it really is filled with all that is human - tenacity, perseverance and above all hope!

Currently reading the LibDem manifesto. Next up, the Tory manifesto and the Labour manifesto. After that, I might start on the smaller parties. Or something less worthy but more intersting.

I admire your dedication. I should do this too, before an election, but usually I just read the one-page blurb they send us by post. And lately it has been arriving only a few days before (if ever)...

In the last couple of Days, I finished Love Among the Chickens by P.G. Wodehouse. If you like his Bertie and Jeeves stories, you'll love it.

I also finished a Sci-Fi tale that involves people fighting with light sabers and a mysterious object that was "full of stars." One of the main characters was a gruff speaking alien who came from a planet of warriors and justified his aggressiveness with talk of "honor". Of course, I'm speaking of the 1970 masterpiece, Ringworld by Larry Niven (Audiobook).

I read The Road and No Country for Old Men back to back last year. Afterward I was tempted to build a moat around my house.

I knew it wasn't meant to be a 'feel good' type of book, but I've read other End of the World books where everyone dies in the end that seemed more cheerful than this one. You're right though, beautifully written, and that's what kept me coming back to it.

I'll have to read that one too, although I don't think I'm brave enough to read them back to back.
