Clearly you need to find someone (or several someones) who can give you exactly 1000000* karma now. Perhaps we could start a thread-a-thon fundraiser?

As for me, I seem cursed to be unable to give karma ending in odd numbers, perhaps because mine ends in an odd number itself. It ends up rounding down.

Doesn't the Karma system allow the giver to specify the amount they want to give? if so someone gaming the system can multiply their count fairly quickly. I suspect the admins should have a way to check the IP addresses of users to see if any duplicates (3-4) using the same IPs, each with fairly low post counts.... the info is there, its just a matter of the admins want to dig through all the info.

That or maybe there are a few people that post rarely but typically have something meaningful to say that people like (or a combination of the 2 situations).

Yes and no...

First quantity of karma has no meaning. None at all. So even if you could give a billion billion billion billion karma to some one, it still would have the same value as... well nothing cause quantity of karma means nothing.

Second... the amount you can give, and how often you can give are caped depending on the age of your account, and other factors so its not free for all... not that it would matter cause... see point one.
