You know thats a good question. I have seen odd karma change to even when added many times, and you can not give just one karma, so hmmm.

EDIT: just tried again, I gave 1309 (my max) Karma, but only 1308 was added.

I'm not sure if it's only possible to give even numbers. This morning my karma ended with a 9. Someone gave me karma and now it ends in 0. That shouldn't be possible.

Someone mentioned that newbies can give just 1 Karma, while I know that I can not, so there appears to be some kind of tiered system... in other words, some ppl can give odd karma and some can not.

In the "goode olde dayes" it was possible to give any number of Karma. Then they fixed the system, so that you can not give Karma of 1. The fix introduced a bug that only lets you to give even number of Karma points. So, some oldtimers that had odd number of Karma points at the moment this "fix" got applied are forever doomed to have odd number of Karma points.

When I started this thread, I had even karma - I took a screenshot - now I have odd. So it is possible to give odd karma.
