Worse case, Sony could license LRX and we know that's not been cracked.

There were some that were exclusive to them and Amazon. I purchased two the day they switched to EPUB. (i.e. Allan Folsom - The Hadrian Memorandum and Piers Anthony - Air Apparent). I am sure there are more that have purchased since then that were only sold there, but can't remember.

The Piers Anthony book is now sold all over the place in EPUB and Ereader format.

EDIT: I am still waiting on Topaz to be defeated or another Piers Anthony book (Two To the Fifth) to be released in another format. I have the Topaz version already, but it can only be read on my iPhone because I don't own a Kindle. Lynn Sholes 4 books are only offered in Topaz also.

This is great. I can now render all the glyphs in a book (in this case using paths in Context Free Art, but SVG or PostScript Type 1 would be just as easy).

Rendering to PostScript Type 1 glyphs would allow easier translation to PDF.

Yeah, my husband was theorizing about PostScript to PDF too. But neither of us have the programming skills to get any farther than theorizing.
