webnovel.com is back to not working.

Please help, I've installed Calibre and the Plugin on a new pc but for some reason it appears that the installation of Fanficfare is unfinished. Calibre is working fine together with all the other plugins, however fff appears as though it's stuck at the 'Please Restart' stage.

If I go to plugin list and choose customize plugin it shows 'You must restart calibre before you can configure the FanFicFare plugin'. I also can't enable/disable it and no icon appears on any menu.

I've tried uninstalling it, I tried uninstalling calibre, as I'm running calibre 64 I tried installing the other option and still nothing.

I'm out of ideas, and I feel like the solution is pretty obvious and I'm just missing it.

That's not a problem I recall seeing before. My only thought to try is:

In Calibre's Preferences, toward the bottom in section Advanced is option Miscellaneous. Click that, then the 'Open calibre configuration directory' button.

In that directory, go into 'plugins' and delete FanFicFare.zip. Then restart calibre and try installing the plugin again.

If that doesn't work, you'll have to ask up a level in the forums as a more general plugin problem. It sounds like it's an issue before the plugin code starts running.

And for the record, if you wanted between 2 and 4 fandoms you would use:

No. I have yet to see any compelling arguments for it. But I admit it's been a while since I last looked into it.

Do you have specific arguments for it?
