No matter what I try I can't get this metadata to be the correct one

OíConnell, R.

I would prefer it to be Rick O'Connell. This is what I've tried:

characters,ships=>.OíConnell, R\.=>Rick O'Connell&&category=>Mummy
characters,ships=>.R\.=>Rick O'Connell&&category=>Mummy

Also whenever there is a Jr. or Sr. it doesn't change to the metadata I've set.

    characters,ships=>Henry Jones, Sr\.=>Henry Jones Senior&&category=>Indiana Jones

Have I done something wrong?

For the first all you have to do is remove the period at the start and it works:

 characters,ships=>OíConnell, R\.=>Rick O'Connell&&category=>Mummy

For the second it works as written for me so give the story to see if the issue is there or something in yours.

It is treating the comma as separating characters because that is what ff.net uses it to. Normally they would write it as "R. OíConnell" and looking through my own personal.ini I can see many examples of that, mistake of whoever added them I suppose along with the 'í' there.

Not sure how to deal with it in general. I guess for known cases you can use something like this for the time being...?

Yep same issue. FF.net uses comma as what separates characters so any name that has commas in it is split. Do a similar thing as the above to make a temporary workaround.

    characters,ships=>Henry Jones=>Henry Jones Senior&&category=>Indiana Jones
    characters,ships=>Sr\.=>&&category=>Indiana Jones

I vaguely recall reading this here so I am looking for it to see how it was solved but without success.

Why bring categories? this is for tags..

It's about where the data comes from and goes. These might be better to be called "genres". But, in the code, they are put into metadata called "categories". These can be displayed separately on the title page and will go into the tags.

So, I suggest eroticatags_use_all or eroticatags_use_first

I think you confused my recent comment with the pm I sent some days earlier about multi-chapter categories.
You did what I requested in the pm alright in the latest test version..

But, what I asked in my recent comment is diff.
It's not about categories.. it's about what gets printed as eroticatags

The problem I have is that whenever I download a story from Elysian Fields the EF which should only be in my authorId column also shows up in the AuthorHTML column.

This is the only website where I have this problem, is it possible to fix this (besides me deleting the bold line in my personal.ini)?

authorUrl and authorId work the same. By changing authorId, you've broken authorUrl and therefore authorHTML.

There are over 100 sites supported--I'm not going to go check them all. I would speculate that some adapters build the authorUrl from authorId and some don't.
