Reminds me of one of my favorite squirrel memories. I was taking summer classes at U.T. Austin, living in a split level dorm room. The windows were basically flush with the ground, and the door on the other side of the rooms was above ground. The windows were the old crank kind. There was a squirrel that made the rounds of the rooms, looking for handouts. I would take bit of chocolate cake and wave it right next to the window. Poor squirrel went crazy trying to get thru the glass.......

(Even then, I knew squirrels were evil...)

My computer is fixed!!

My computer is fixed!!

And, tonight I switched from XP to Vista on that computer, and the switch over was really easy .... the only drivers I had to download were for my monitors and one printer.

Happy happy joy joy!!

Now, I just need to build a new desk section for one of my printers, and I think I'm going to move the CPU/case to the desk from the floor ... where I rather hope it will get less dust in it.

And, my new clamp-on surge suppressors came today .... so I will be able to bring all the plugs up off the floor too!!

I am such a happy girl at the moment!!
