Another participant was asking me about my Kinle earlier. That relieved the boredom for a while.

Maybe you should find and play Zelda's mp3 of The SHUMS. Just turn it up. That would relieve the boredom, too.

Right now, I'm letting Hugo and Lefty, whom Zelda left with me so she could travel without triggering security alarms, text Zelda on my Blackberry. It takes both of them to type. Yes, they are smart socks, but they are smart SOCKS. Watching socks type is about like watching grandpa gum his steak.

Have Hugo and Lefty been through the laundry recently? Otherwise you might need to disinfect your Blackberry when they're done toeing the keypad. Smart SOCKS? Do they have hummingbird tattoos?

I simply cannot get used to you using Zeep's old avatar. I keep thinking the posts are from her .... which when I saw "my Kindle" (or a near miss) it really threw me.

Keeping them OUT of the laundry is the problem. Think about it... warm water, suds... the Kenmore is like Club Med.

I'm sitting on the lounge, listening to the helicopters dump water on the bushfire in the National Park about a kilometre away, and waiting to close-up the house if the wind brings the smoke this way.

I'm also wondering why my "Your Notifications" item on MR keeps showing "1" item even though I keep going to that one item (a visitor message).

...so, what you do, to get rid of it (when logging out and clearing cache and cookies doesn't help and, anyway, it was also doing it on the iPod Touch), is, you post a new visitor message for yourself, and then delete it, and it tells you it's going to delete 2 messages, even though you've only highlighted that one of your own, and so you click "Yes" to delete, and then your stubborn "Your Notifications" item is gone. Voila!

I think I might go have a shower (tune in on the webcam at the usual link).

Huh .... trying to figure out why not being able to hear any "outside" noise in your new car is a good thing??

So, all these new car owners are going to be driving around not being able to hear fire trucks and police or EMT sirens??

Not a very good idea in my opinion.
