Listening to Christmas music. In past years, I started in Sep or Oct. This year I resolved that I wouldn't be so early, so Nov is now the earliest I'll start listening to it.

Preparing for a busy morning. I have to go to the supermarket and pick up some new painkillers for my mother. Of course the supermarket and pharmacy are in different directions.

My father also picked up a very big backorder from a supplier last night. So if he has finished the pricing list I can get started on that.

This afternoon, after work, I have to order the shopping from the supermarket to be delivered on Thursday (I go to a small, local supermarket on Tuesday to get a couple of perishables and on Thursday we get the weekly groceries delivered).

Luckily I don't have to cycle this afternoon, I'll get my exercise today from walking to the supermarket and pharmacy. Which means I have a little bit more time to myself this afternoon than on a normal Tuesday.

At 7pm there's another press conference where new measures are announced to bring down the number of infections. We probably have to wear our face masks again in the store from Saturday.

I just packed for a couple of days at my sister's. She has a bunch of vacation days left, so she took time off work yesterday and Monday. After work today I'm heading to her place and we're going to have a relaxed weekend. She does have to go to a baby shower tomorrow, but it's only a couple of hours and I can entertain myself.

I'm also mentally preparing myself for work. From today face masks are mandatory again in stores. I don't mind wearing one, but I'm not looking forward to the inevitable discussions with some customers. I'm not expecting it to get very busy today.

Relaxing on this forum for a while, before venturing out to visit an aged Aunt and Uncle, followed by a visit to an old friend. Then home to prepare lunch for myself and my Grandaughter, who visits me every Saturday.

We are having photos of the house taken tomorrow for listing the house for sale on Friday. We've found the one we are buying, waiting to close on the 23rd. So I'm currently having a rest while supper cooks, cuz I'm exhausted.

We've spent the last couple of weeks packing and filling a storage unit in anticipation of the move. We've been here 33 years, so every nook and corner is full.

Can't wait to get moved, but we gave the sellers until January 23rd to vacate because they are moving to another state and the wife has some health issues. Really really hoping it won't take that long.

Yay! Yeah, it's a lot of work. I spent most of my free time from July to September boxing up all my worldly belongings for a similar move. After I was out, I had painters and carpet-replacers in, and listed my place. It got a contract quickly; awaiting the closing after bank finishes paperwork. Meanwhile, I'm only un-packing as I need items!

We are hoping this place sells quickly, so we don't have to recast the loan on the new place. In the long run, it won't really matter, but it would be nice. This house is paid off, so nothing to deal with there.

Would love to be moved before Christmas.

I fully commiserate with you on the move. We played a lot of the same day and date tetris, but it was worth it in the end. I wish you a safe move, good movers, and no rain!

Trying to wake up and go do the things that need to be done today (cleaning, laundry and exercise). After that I promised myself a long The Sims 4 session. But I can't seem to wake up today and Luna is lying next to me demanding attention.

Pffft, I'm not that kind of lawyer. We're legal aid - we're poverty lawyers. I don't get paid by the hour and not at all by my clients.
