Well .... I am going to be early tonight. I got dragged to yet another party (with the folks at the Civil Rights Project oddly enough). I printed out the entire thread concerning searches of laptops for them to peruse.

I don't think I have ever seen so many people blowing wine out of there noses as I did while I was reading to them what Milarepa and joblack (and lest we forget the very learned silencer), had written on the subject of civil rights in the United States, and specifically on the topic of border searches.

Oh ... I almost feel bad for having so much fun with my friends at their expense. Please note ... I said "almost."

right now I am wondering what is going on in my sleepy suburb. Police choppers have been up for about 30 minutes and now lots of sirens.
Now I am heading off to finish reading a book.

I like them both just fine. TinyMCE in Drupal does have a few quirks, though, mostly having to do with oddly conflicting style sheets.

TinyMCE does have some options that can be set to strip out Word "formatting" if the special "paste Word text" button is used, and an option to do this cleanup automatically if the user is :shudder: using IE, but the Drupal module that incorporates TinyMCE doesn't support these features, so I'm working them into the Drupal module code. Mostly it's working ok. A couple of the options seem to do nothing when set. I'm not really a great programmer, though-- my main skills are in sifting through vague user comments to come up with actual intended requirements. I can code, but I'm slow. If you think you could help with this and you'd like to earn some cash, contact me.

Google failed me on the Jabberwocky riff. I've seen a number of them over the years, but I don't think I've seen that one before. I'll guess Niven, just to be sporting.

i like watching bats, as long as they are not inside my house.

not quite dark, but definitely closer to dark than daylight. it doesn't get dark until around 10 pm in summer time, so it's still only twilight.

Doing a jewelry striptease, putting the rock collection into an empty water bottle to go into my glove compartment while I go to the gym after work. They have to steal the whole car to get it. Or break the glass.

My bracelets that I got in Morrocco won't fit into a bottle, so they will have to go into the glove compartment without the bottle.

OK, I'm unadorned now and ready to go swimming. 'Bye!
