Just look at her, my Queen - I don't think that's the kind of cat that's bound silly things like this universe's natural laws.

I just fed her a goat, but she left the entrails and, strangely, appears to be "reading" them. Odd.

More black cats should come with brightly glowing eyes - it would decrease the number of accidents caused by tripping over them (an ex boss broke his leg by doing that...)

And given it looks like it needs comforting, it's cute. Sort of.

I think I'm either running a temperature or have had one (too many) ZCPs...

that might *also* have been my cat (the other one). her favorite game in the world is to lie in wait for me off to the side of some frequently-taken path or behind a doorway or something, then when i walk past go hurtling in front of me, causing me at the very least a big surprise (heart attack, one day), and at most bodily harm as i trip over her. i think she gets bonus points if i'm coming back from the kitchen with a cup of hot tea.

Just be glad you don't have a house with stairs. I cannot even begin to count the times the cats have waited for me at the top of the stairs, and one good trip has sent me tumbling to the bottom.

They must have read my will. That's my best guess.

On the upside, I have become quite adept at talking falls. I've learned to relax and roll with the fall ... fighting it just makes things worse.

Still up to my armpits in housework at the moment. The cats really did a number on this place while I was gone. The night I came home, sick and really tired, I found they had peed on my pillow. It was soaked in urine. I probably would have discovered this a little earlier on, but my sinuses were so stuffed up that my sense of smell was non-existent.

As it was -- and thank heavens -- I had dry and clean guest bedding I could use.

Seriously?? It's a cow that has gotten out of its pasture and on to the road (most of the time it's the road .... I don't know why).

I hit a loose cow during driver's ed. Put me off getting my DL until I was about 26. I was that traumatized.
