We can get whisky, and almost any other liquor or liqueur disguised as a chocolate. After eating a box it might get a bit telltale though when you start slurring your words and your inhibitions (and any evil bosses) are thrown out the window.

I have to say, I'm glad I don't live in DC right now. I'm sure it's a madhouse. I feel bad for those trying to get to work today on the Metro.

A friend of mine actually got an invitation to the inauguration. He considered trying to go for all of 10 seconds, I believe. Even at the point that he got the invitation, hotels had all been sold out for weeks and people were renting out their houses for exorbitant amounts.

My dad is on campus today (he works for the Peace Corps) so we're planning to have lunch together at one of the many locations that will be displaying the event.

Meanwhile, I have my first class in "Normative Inquiry" (ethics) tonight. I'm waiting to see if this will be as painful as the last class I had with this professor.

how did he manage to be invited ?? invited as in to go inside the white house ??? is he a diplomat or something ? (but i'm with him, i would have been pleased to have been invited but still declined.)
