In a strange typical-role-reversal I'm trying to persuade the yeti that I do have too many shoes, whilst he tries to persuade me to buy these

Whoa. Are you feeling well, girl? I'd buy the shoes to put on the corpse of may late great grandmother, maybe, but would otherwise not wish them on a living soul. Okay, I'm a dog so what do I know? Also, I'm a guy dog.

Ooh I want to show you my boots but they don't have them up anymore. They're Cole Haan short boots with a wedge heel with Nike Air soles, black pebble leather. Three inch heel and it feels like I'm wearing sneakers.

Just googled Cole Haan as I've never heard of them - and I hadn't realised you could get Nike Air soles in non-trainers and that didn't look they'd been transplanted from a trainer!

The lack of heels one those would certainly be of benefit to a dog. The pink might clash with the flowers, though...

Quite well, thank you!! :giggle: I probably still have a pair a lot like that, in dove grey kid leather, which no longer fit but are too cool to give away. I like the ladies' idea to get them with "air" soles though. Gotta go look.....

(Note, the beach is much nicer than this - this was specifically taken after some storm-surge) It's all forested sand, and there's no real ground-cover other than thin humus. Weeds grow in gardens (and the National Park), but most of them have a fight on their hands, since the undergrowth and trees suck most of the life out of the soil. There are some weeds that are persistent though...but I'm equally persistent, and between me and the scrub turkeys uprooting them all the time, they tend to give up. Incidentally, two baby turkeys have taken refuge in our gardens, and can be heard scratching away at the ground. They're not pretty...they're sort of like "ugly ducklings", but instead of growing up into "beautiful swans" they grow up into uglier turkeys. Quote:
