Well, I know that I am not the world's most sociable guy, but this is ridiculous.

The only real problem I have is the fact that I panic when there are lots of people around me, but except from that , I'm open for new contacts and really friendly. Look at my teeth, momma!

Apart from that, I am again sitting in my taxi reading and waiting for clients. Ah, well! Begins to sound samey, isn't it?

Well it makes a change from my taxi drivers, who are either listening to a recording of the Koran, or heavy metal.

arg, heavy metal in a taxi !!! that would probably convince me to stick to the métro. then again sometimes people are listening to heavy metal in the métro so loudly that you can hear it 2 metres away from them. and their headphones.

i guess there's no escaping it. maybe we should all travel with earplugs, just in case.

Sure. Are you going to let Adrian drive this time? I mean, the whole idea of designated drivers remaining sober also has to do with arriving at the destination after you start out. That plus his taste in music tends to grate.

Well, I am FINALLY throwing away a lot of my old computer equipment. I've been holding on to it for what seems like forever, but I started stuffing it into trash bags today and it is going bye-bye.

It's sad, but true, Goodwill and Salvation Army won't take this stuff ... and even people at Freecycle don't want it. So, I'm going to stop feeling crummy that it still works and yet it is going into a landfill. I hate it that it is obsolete before its useful life is up ... but that's life and I just do NOT have the room or the reason to hang on to this stuff any more.

So there.

His musical taste is great, isn't it? I must admit that I do quite like The Monkees, though they're not to everyone's taste.

I didn't realise you were so hung-up on such a mono-directional chronology. It all sounds very deterministic to me. At least when Adrian drives, the cops always find us sober, us having to been going to were drunk get after we arrived before they pulled us over later-on yesterday. Plus, when you wake up, you only ever have a hangunder, where every sound fills you with a sense of ravenously tingling happiness at the music of the spheres, and your head feels like it is filled with zinging electrons communicating their speedy messages of purpose and go-get-'em-tiger joi de vivre, lighting up every last crevice and curve of your cortex with the burning light of positivism (That is, you feel fine, but everyone else hates you).

'Course, I do a pretty decent gin-and-tonic instead, if you want, guaranteed to have you crying with eyes of Bombay Sapphire blue within mere moments.

C'mon...you know you want to.
