When is it? Mine's the 29th right after Turkey Day. As you know November is my Birthday month so it's special because I am that awesome! This year I want/need Christmas early so I shall have it. You have no idea how I want to howl at the walls in this tiny cave of an apartment but I am grateful to have a roof over my head I really am but 750sq feet sometimes feels so claustrophobic no window views, no Sun. It just sucks.

Right now I am getting together my Holiday reads. The whole family well me , hubby and his parents has decided to start the Holidays early this year. Mother in law already got her tree up. I plan to start decorating next weekend. I'm already listening to Christmas music. I have 3 Halloween reads I'd like to get in but real life keeps getting in the way and I am unable concentrate on more than a few pages at a time. You know that song We Need A Little Christmas by Angela Landsbury well that is our family at the moment. So I read blog posts like this one and think it's got to get better! It gives me hope of hubby finding a permanent job, although I am very thankful for the temp job he is at right now and the overtime he is getting with it. So I guess this is me checking in for the past week.

Blossom, the stores and malls near me (NY Metro area) have been playing Christmas music, diffusing Christmas scents into the air, and displaying Christmas decorations and gifts all month. Is that also true in your neck of the woods?

I don't know I haven't been out since the fifth. I've yet to go to the mall here. It's huge!! I want to go there for my Birthday I'd love to eat at the Cheesecake Factory. Probably not this year but maybe next yet.

Looking at their site it looks like on November 15 is when they start the holidays.

Sorry you're getting stir crazy looking at the same walls. Can you put up one of those poster windows? Do they still make those? (I used to have one that was a window looking out at woods). Of course nowadays there is probably some tech way to have the scene actually change (might be expensive though. Mine was an actual poster that was like $4).

I watch Armchair Tourist on my Roku. It shows 1 minute clips of places all over the world.

OT but I need help please.
My tools in Calibre stopped working after latest download [2.8]. I tried going back to earlier version but it won't let me convert or anything, it keeps giving me DRM error. count pages stopped working too. I don't know what to do.

I just wanted to download my new books and read after a very horrible day. Any nice help would be appreciated.

ETA I think I'm just going to try to leave it until tomorrow. But if someone has an easy fix I'd really appreciate it.

I'm using tools 6.08 and it works. Is it a plugin zip like in 6.08? Make sure you removed the old plugins first.
