There is one at Dear Author

And here's another I found How To Geek

I do my splits manually just using Edit Book and deleting the applicable sections. Calibre Manual

Thanks!
  1. Open Calibre.
  2. Click Preferences (cogwheel thingie in tool bar)
  3. Click on the Toolbar icon that looks like a magic wand.
  4. In the drop-down menu, pick "the main toolbar"
  5. Locate your new plugin in the list of "available actions". Click on it, to highlight it.
  6. Click on the upper of the two arrows between the two lists.
  7. Click the green "apply" check mark in the upper left.

This puts the ePub Split plugin in your main toolbar. I never use it with a device connected, it's just easier to do all my book management stuff without interference.

I've got the first series someone highly recommended to me but have not read it yet but I paid for than 99 cents for the first few books so this is a really good deal.

The fact that the flu is here is bad for Dallas, since they now have a second Ebola case, and it seems like the flu at first and people panic any time they start getting sick.

I got my flu shot several weeks ago and it didn't hurt when I got it, but it did make a lymph node under my arm swell up slightly. Since it was time for my BSE I found it and panicked slightly, but realized it hurt up behind my arm and around to the injection site so figured out what it was. I kept an eye on it for a week, even after it went down and it is fine now. Yes, I am still monitoring it. Everyone should be doing monthly BSEs.(There is my October Breast Cancer Awareness plug)
Duly noted on the BSEs. I woke up today feeling ill. The lymph nodes in my right arm pit, neck and back were swollen most of the day. They are almost back to normal. My left arm hurt too but I think that was because I slept on it wrong as I woke up with it all tingly from sleeping on it but everything else I had never experience pain like that before only in my neck from sinus drainage but wow back lymph nodes really hurt when they are swollen! I got the injection in my left arm and there is only a small red spot there now so I think it's all okay just my body not use having stuff put into it. I haven't had a immunization since I was a child so I think it went in a mild shock. Nothing as horrible as the flu though!

@Library addict and ScalyFreak,
Thanks so much for the info! I have added epubsplit to the Calibre toolbar and now will read the explanations and then experiment with splitting a book. I hadn't found it necessary before, but some of these anthologies are huge and I am not interested in all of the books (or reading them in order).
Thanks again!

The Perfect Ten by Janice Maynard (orig. NAL, 2008).

Quote:
THE PERFECT TEN – The beautiful Killaney cousins concoct wonderful products for their shop Lotions and Potions. But one particular batch seems to have a peculiar and wonderful effect on the new men in their lives. Have they really created Love Potion #10, or are the sexual encounters nothing more than animal attraction?

HE LOVES ME, HE LOVES ME NOT - Diana refuses to be won over by the overly macho, arrogant, works-with-his-hands Damian. But when Damian begins using a new lotion on his hands, Diana can’t keep her hands off of him.

MOVIE MAGIC – Serious, responsible Elizabeth enjoys a clandestine encounter with the exotic Enrique until she finds out he’s a much younger man. Is the lotion she’s using to blame for their undeniable attraction?

I DREAM OF JEANNIE – Jeannie is fascinated with the clean-cut professor who claims to dream about her every night. She’d like to play house with him on a permanent basis, but is this all about the #10 shaving cream he’s using?

Wish Upon a Star by Olivia Goldsmith (Diversion Books; orig. Harper Collins 2004).

Quote:
From the New York Times bestselling author of THE FIRST WIVES CLUB.

Claire takes the ferry into Manhattan every day, wishing that life could be as magical as it is in the novels she reads, and hoping she'll catch a glimpse of sexy lawyer Michael at work. One day, out of the blue, Michael offers her a trip to London, all expenses paid, and Claire's fortunes take an extraordinary about-turn.

Crossing the Atlantic, a whole new world opens up for Claire. Finally, she can revel in all the delights London has to offer a girl with a fresh spring in her step. The streets may not be paved with gold, but they are rich with opportunity.

But happily-ever-after isn't easy, even in fairytales...and Claire must reckon without the obstructive efforts of a very strait-laced Englishman if she is going to have the happy ending she's after.

Smoldering Embers by Marie Ferrarella (orig. published with Jove in the Second Chance at Love line in 1982 under the name Marie Charles).

Quote:
“Etienne,” she heard Blake say with a chuckle as she raced up the stairs, “you’ve hired us a hellcat. Thanks.”

Brittany Sinclair is no hellcat, but she does learn how to hold her own as she battles the romantic advances of the irrepressibly amusing Blake Kinkade, race car hotshot and son of her wealthy employer. Already feeling at sea among the rich, she can't be sure when he's just playing games, and when his attentions are for real. What she lacks in worldly experience she makes up for in courage and a quick tongue. She's no fool. She knows a playboy when she sees one and she's determined to resist Blake's seductive charm, but her senses come alive under his sensual assault. She -- the minister's daughter, passionate and proud; he -- the millionaire's son in reckless pursuit of life... They surrender to desire. But he seems incapable of love... and she demands nothing less.
