I didn't buy any books or read any. I did however catch up on all Once Upon a Time episodes on Netflix and bought the first episode of Haven Season 5 and watched it.

I've been spending my spare time playing Sims 4 that my friend bought me so right now it's shiny and new and I am having alot of fun. I'm keeping a blog about it here And before you ask yes Ranger lives in my game.

Angelbound by Christina Bauer is free at B&N, Kobo and Amazon.

It's independently published (the publisher's entire catalog is three series by two authors), but I read it this weekend. It was fun to read and the editing is adequate (I noticed a few grammar mistakes, but nothing distracting).

It's contemporary paranormal, heavy teenage romance, no sex. There is one currently available sequel, one due in October and one due next year. The ending isn't a cliffhanger, so it reads fine by itself.

Eighteen year old Myla Lewis is a girl who loves two things: kicking ass and kicking ass. She’s not your every day quasi-demon, half-demon and half-human, girl. For the past five years, Myla has lived for the days she gets to fight in Purgatory’s arena. I wonder if it's all those books being free is a mistake or maybe a new HQ promo. It's been a long time since they did a Try Harlequin. Maybe their HQN imprint isn't doing so well?

But these seem to all be backlist titles which will be new to digital. I'm more inclined to think error or, if not, they will eventually be free direct from Harlequin at least. Currently, they are not even listed there (at least the ones I checked).

I think it's an error too. Let's hope they don't pull them and relist them when they realize it. I've had too many pre-orders happen that way lately.
