A site in hongkong has the Hanvon E920 available for US$644 (the site has support for english): http://hongkongeek.com/android-and-w...00-x-1200.html

I've never purchased from this site, so can't make any recommendations one way or the other. Edit: here's their policy page: http://hongkongeek.com/content/3-ter...ditions-of-use

Wasn't it RMB 2800 on Taobao in China? Which comes out to USD 440.- and even includes the local 17% tax (which you could possible get a partial refund for). At the price of $644.- why not just get the Ectaco Jetbook Color, which is basically the same but only costs $500?

I agree. If Taobao had support for transactions in english, that would be ideal.

Edit: here's another place that does transactions in english, and has it for $473: http://www.craftyprice.com/android-a...00-x-1200.html. However, they don't accept "retractions" - I'm assuming that "retractions" means returns to cancel the purchase: http://www.craftyprice.com/content/3...-use#article11 Also shipping is not included in that price.
