He's leaving Doctor Who. But there will be four 'specials' before he goes for good. The next one is the Christmas special, where you can see cybermen stamping through the cemetary where my father is buried.

How does that make you feel? I would be horrified if they filmed a TV show in my parents' cemetary.

Let me ask since I'm still confused: Is the new season just going to be 4 episodes? And I hope the next doctor has a bit more meat on his bones. I would like one to be softer and cuddlier for a change.

Heh. I'm willing to stray from the topic for this.

I understand that in the press announcement, Tennant told the reporters, "Please don't ask me about this or I may start crying." Or something to that effect. I guess he really enjoys being the Doctor. I myself can't figure out why he couldn't just stay with it. I mean, he had an acting career before, and if something untoward happened to the Doctor Who franchise

, he could still get work. I really felt like he was building a lot of depth to the character. I hate to see that get abandoned.
