Scanning an eink reader (using flatbed or overhead contactless digit. camera scanner) is similar to scanning pbook and usually easier and quicker, although also usually redundant if there is a screenshot function.

Haven't tried scanning a lcd tablet so far, but there is also usually no need, because it takes about two seconds to take a screenshot i.e. about 15 minutes for 500 page/screens book or we can use some screen capturing app for even quicker capturing as video.

We don't need to use a standard way of taking the screenshots e.g. on iPad simultaneously pressing the power and home button waiting on the clicking sound and screen flashing white, rather we can use any action at will to make it easier and quicker e.g. two quick presses on the home button or one swipe on the screen corner etc. muting the clicking sound or eliminating the flashing completely for quicker screenshooting if there are hundreds of pages.

Depends what it's a screenshot of of course. If it's a page-scanned PDF that may not be case, and a page-scan is perhaps the most likely thing you'd want to be doing OCR on.
