The Aura N514 does not have removable internal storage so no image is available. People have used a N250 Aura H2O image copied to a µSD card and booted from that card in the external µSD card slot. See message #124 in this thread for one user's experience.

The following models have fixed internal storage and no image is available.

My kobo sd is corrupt so i cant boot it up. How do i find my model? I believe it is a Clara HD but nothing on the mother board with model i can find.

Hi, first of all, thanks for ypur help in advance. Today I hard resetted my Kobo Clara HD, got the black screen "Restoring", and to my surprise, that was it. It got stuck there forever. I tried everything, to end nowhere, and finally decided to open it and release the SD Card. Following some guides from here and there, I downloaded an image (KoboRoot.tgz and 2 more files), and tried to burn it on my SD Card, but the kobo didn't got off the stuck..... In this process of trying several times, I made the mistake of pressing yes to one of Windows banners that appear when you insert the SDCard...
Now I have the SD completery erased, in format FAT32, and I don't know if there is a solution to this.....

Hello,

I'm in the same case as jetlag.
My kobo clara hd is stuck on the restoring screen for hours, and even after I disconnected all the slicks, it didn't turned off the screen.

Is it possible to send me the image for this device please ?

Look at the edges of the case. For instance, on the Clara HD, looking at the left hand edge of the bottom of the case (same edge as the power button and USB port), you should see Kobo Clara HD in black on black to make it easy to miss.

You will need to have Private Messages enabled before you can be sent the link. If you don't see that option in the "Edit Options" of the User control panel, you should post in the Requests to enable Private Messages thread to ask for PMs to be enabled.

Once PMs are enabled, please post in the Kobo µSD Card Image Requests thread to let me know.
