Re the just-released firmware 3.18.0:

Just installed nightmode Build 13 on these units with firmare 3.18.0:
  • Kobo Aura (regular 6-inch)
  • Kobo Aura HD

It works fine with both of them.

For me, installed on Glo HD, firmware 3.18. It works but it's weird.

While before I just had to set the light level and the background turned to black directly.

Now, even if I wait for the timeout, I have to exit the light menu before I see any background change.

Anyone else noticed it?

which one did you install? the one for h2o attached here https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...&postcount=512 or the one from https://github.com/traycold/kobo-nightmode
I tried the one from traycold on my Glo HD with firmware 3.18.0 and nothings happen

I tried the h20 build and it worked on my glo hd, I used the 100% and 0 timeout trick and love it.

Yes, I believe, because I too had to reinstall Nightmode tgz after the upgrade.

Oups sorry, I did not come here for a while... I was using the Traycold version.

Just updated to 3.19, I'll test the H2O version.

Edit: Finally, I've check MD5 sums and realized that I was using the H2O version already... But I got in from Traycold's Github as far as I remember. And today's Traycold's Github version has a different MD5.... Strange... But.... but... but...

Under 3.19.5613, H2O version works perfectly and switches to night mode instantly.
