Smart sync with box

Has anyone figured out how to sync intelligently with Box on the DPT-S1? I would like to be able to keep folder structures organized online but still have content pushed from my DPT-S1 to the cloud. AKA I would like unidirectional file addition/removal (from cloud to dpt-s1), but bidirectional file modification (or at the least unidirectional - from dpt-s1 to cloud).

As of now if I try to reorganize file structures, I end up with multiple copies of the same file.

E.g.

Upload file to cloud
Sync with DPT-S1
Move file to subfolder in cloud
Sync
Now there are two copies of the same file (one in parent folder, the other in subfolder).

Thanks!

I just couldn't delete my post, so I just modified it.

My original questions was about 300ppi vs 150ppi, I wanted to know how DPT-1 would compare to Kindle Voyage.

I just couldn't wait anymore, I really need a large ereader, so I just ordered Onyx M96. I guess I will be able to answer my question and share the answer for those who are interested.

hopefully Onyx M96 will do it's job until either DPT-1 or hopefully DPT-2 are available in Europe, or Onyx 13.3 comes out.

There is apparently an ongoing registration campain on the JP SONY website (until the 31th of march 2016):
https://www.sony.jp/digital-paper/support/touroku/

In the FAQ we can read (google translation):

"Q13: when you register, what are the benefits?

A13: If the registration I was just up to March 31, 2016, it will be considered as the warranty period from the date of purchase for three years.
Also, we'll give the guidance of future updates and events."

Considering this, it seems that SONY still has plans to keep updating this product.

This is good news IMO!

IMO, the DPT-S1 works perfectly fine to me despite any ppi it has. Text is crisp and clear, even when zooming in (since everything is vector-based). So pp does not matter much.

Thanks @svosg13, I just received my Onyx M96 yesterday, and I'm enjoying it, actually, I really like it despite the 150ppi, I wish if DPT-S1 was easy to get in Europe, I would have bought one, I can really see the point of having a large ereader in less of 48 of using the Onyx.

Hopefully, in few month Onyx 13.3 or DPT-S2 comes out with higher ppi. I may go crazy and buy a used DPT-S1 if it's available in Europe in a reasonable price

Regarding DPT-S2 mentioned above, I'm hoping for one, I don't claim that there is one coming in few months, just in case.

Today mine arrived from us shipping. Ordered last week and now its here in Germany. Its easy to get to Europe but you will have to pay extra fees. I was curious if it works, but it has

Got mine from www.bhphotovideo.com. There is nothing special, just ordered it. There is a drop-down for your country.

@grekk thanks, I think I will wait a little, the Onyx is doing great job so far. Maybe in few months Onyx 13.3 with a higher ppi and Android or a new Sony DPT-2.

I've been wanting a full sized ereader since about 2005 and I'm seriously thinking of picking one of these up. I've been doing my research, but I still have a few questions that I was hoping an owner could answer for me:

1) After opening a pdf marked up with the DPTS1 on the desktop can you choose to "print without markup" or further edit the markups? I was watching a review on goodereader that said that all edits made with the DPTS1 are permanent. Unfortunately, this would be a deal breaker for me.

2) When opening a pdf marked up with the DPTS1 on the desktop what color are the highlights?

3) If highlights are made on the desktop, are they readable on the DPTS1? Right now I highlight in blue on the desktop so that I can read my highlights when printed with a B&W laser.

4) Is there an underline tool besides the freehand tool?

Thanks so much to anyone who is able to spare a minute to answer.
