Phil, would you mind sharing your box.com server settings, too? you can use "xxxx" for your foldernames and password. ;-)

Hi,
I used these noted by RGP,
server: https://dav.box.com/dav
port: 443
login name: [box.com login - your email address]
password: [box.com password]
sync folder: /[folder to sync (there's a "/" in front of the folder name)]
destination folder: (leave this blank)
rem736 is offline

I did create a folder right in the root access of my box account. So my folder links looks like this :

/SonyDigitalPaper

Now the Sony syncs instantly with any changes I make within this folder on Box.com.
With 50GB on this account, I have quite a platform here.
Hope this help
Phil

It has been more than a year since the release, and it's still expensive. Should I buy it or wait? Has there been any information about when we could expect the next version?

(Hope my english is understandable)

does anyone know if the default pen tips given when purchasing the DPT-S1 is Standard Felt Tip or Elastomer Tip?

Regarding the synchronization with Box, my DPT-S1 could upload the new PDF or a modified PDF to Box sever. However, after I modified a PDF on other devices, such as a PC, the newest file cannot be synchronized to DPT-S1 through the web sever. In addition, if I use my computer to remove a file from a Box folder, DPT won't remove it but re-upload the old file to the sever xD.

sounds like sony's implementation is that of a backup system as opposed to a 2-way sync. it'll only back up files created/modified by the reader. maybe you can delete the local copy and download from box.com the modified copy and make any further changes you need. then upload to box again.

You are right. Currently, that's the only way I could do. BTW, I also tried other WebDav, same problems there.

If you lose your origional stylus of DPTS1, the one for Lenovo x61t might be compatable with it. I have not tested it yet, but someone did. The price of x61t stylus is cheap, around $17 on amazon.

Guys, considering this device for work and play. Just one issue: I use some mega size PDFs 300MB+ with pictures. Can this reader handle this without being overly sluggish?

Thanks
