Dear French,

Would you kindly list the apps you have running on your screen? I'm very interested in having a desktop that looks very similar to yours.

Thanks in advance.

Can you please describe the problem in more detail so that we would look at it and fix it?

Thank you for your response, Linda.

I should note that I am using a rooted Nook Color.

Let me clarify what I meant: Wikipedia works fine for single words, but for two words it doesn't return a response. Any two words with space between returns "wikipedia does not have an article with this exact name".

For example, Thomas Jefferson. The URL when I type in AskDroid is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomas%2Bjefferson, whereas if I type in wikipedia's website the URL is http://en.wikidpedia.org/wiki/Thomas_Jefferson. Another example would be butterfly effect:
AskDroid: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Butterfly%2Beffect
regular: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Butterfly_effect

There seems to be an extra "%2B" when I type in AskDroid.
But for single words it works perfectly fine.

I should also explain my "clunky" comment: The icons are larger than the other icons I have on my Nook Color homescreen. Also, the bars on the top and bottom are relatively thick, IMHO. I also would rather choose/edit the search engines by going into AskDroid and selecting menu preferences as opposed to having the plus sign on the left in the widget itself. For me at least, once I choose my search engines I rarely, if at all, need to change them again, so the plus icon just adds clutter to the widget.

For what it's worth, I would like to see the icons a tad smaller (maybe adjustable?) and a thin border all around the widget.

And just to balance out my comments, I still use AskDroid and it is a very useful widget! Thank you.

Dear Iotta --

in a short way: Correct. Error present. Fixed. Pls update. Thanks a lot for telling us!

And BTW, once you update, it will be a whole new major release. We now have colors, options, labels... and 181 search engines.

Can you post a screenshot with our widget on it? We made the widget originally for smartphones to sit on a small screen, ebooks is a total new thing for us. If we look at how it appears on Nook, we might later design a new widget typ that will be better suited for you Nook owners.

Sincerely, Linda

I've spent a lot of time reading the O'Reilly books for work and for recreation so I thought it was appropriate for me to use a couple of O'Reilly covers for my rooted nook.

Pretty simple 1.1 using Zeam and Button Savior.

eReader Look

Refreshed my look. Decided to make better use of my 6 desktops (ADW) and go for the minimalist look on my default homescreen. Using simiclock widget (transparent), beautiful widgets weather (transparent) and circle battery widget. The dock is hidden.

I upgraded from ADW.Launcher to the paid EX version. Much better response time and great eye candy for customizations.

I did a new picture to give a more lifelike representation of what I'm working with. The colors look a little better.

I'm looking for a new look now, though...

Been wanting to have a go at doing a screen shot, so here it is. It's pretty minimal, just weather and clock and dock bar.

It's Beautiful Widgets and I'm also trying Fancy Widgets. Not quite sure which I like better yet.

Curious how you got up to 6 icons across.. I'm sure it's a setting somewhere (maybe an app?) but I'm not familiar with where.
