I have a Kindle Paperwhite Second generation that is in demo mode. Is there any way to get it out of demo mode.

I have a kindle paper white that was a store demo and you can click on the magnifying glass and in the search bar type in ;resell and it will reset it.

Hi everyone
1)charge your device and make sure it has at least 50% battery
2) tap the magnifying glass on the home page.
3) enter the text ";demo" (that is a semicolon + the word demo) in the searchbar. This will open the demo configuration screen.
4) select the 'Resell Device' option and confirm when asked.
The kindle should now start up in normal mode. It worked for me. Good luck!

Please use your own thread.
This thread is 3 years out of date and refers to a Paperwhite, not a Voyage.
The least you could do is read the first post of this thread, the command "; demo" is not correct.
