Technically, yes, but you'd have to have an older package on hand.

A better question would be: why the hell would you want to downgrade in the first place?

Well, I have also encountered the frontlight problem on my libra 2, but I can see you've already figured it out. So how would I update to dev channel now? Or can I just replace the changed files?

Thanks, everything is back to normal now. Also have I understood the changes on github correctly, can we now wake the libra up with page turning buttons?

Not waking up, but dismissing the screensaver after wakeup when it's set to "display until tap" .

(I mean, I'm a local mod in the Kindle corner, and that sort of house-keeping is 99% of what I use these powers for. And updating thread titles. That normal users can't edit their own thread title is befuddling in general and infuriating when you need it ).
Thanks for the explanation, maybe one day I will try and contact them about moving things around. Maybe

Trouble with windows install script

Hello I'm new to the whole e-reader and kobo thing and got my hands on a kobo aura h20 model n250, so super old. I tried just installing the one click kobo package and it did load to the kobo but scanned the hidden files. To try again, I went to the windows install script but it does not download. It takes me to another tab, on my web browser. How can I download the file?

Thank you. I tried the install.sh on Crostini (the Linux Virtual Machine running Debian Bullseye on a Chromebook) and got issues with how removable devices are ID'd by Crostini. Pulled out my trusty Linux (ex-dual boot Windows-Linux, Windows borked by Microsoft update) laptop and it worked like a charm.

Powershell closing automatically

Hello!
Maybe this is addressed already in any of the 57 pages of the thread, but I was facing a problem lately (That didn't happen before) and I came to solve it so I wanted to share it.

Basically PowerShell would close itself everytime I tried opening the script install.ps1. I came to know that it happened because it wasn't digitally signed, so I needed to change the powershell execution policy.

Just open powershell as an administrator, and type:
Code:
Set-ExecutionPolicy RemoteSigned
and later:
Code:
Y
Execute the script with right click open with powerhell and install the things and then change it back if you want with:
Code:
Set-ExecutionPolicy AllSigned
-----------------------------

Spoiler:
I actually opened it accesing through the powershell with
Code:
cd "your own directory of the script"
and then
Code:
.\install.ps1
But I guess once the execution policy is changed it allows to open it normally as well

Someone mentioned it earlier, but I completely forgot about it ;o).

I should stick that somewhere, but first I'd like to know where the policy came from.. Is this a Windows 11 "feature"?

I installed KOReader on Windows 10. So maybe it is Windows 11.

I'm unable to run Windows 11 on any of my readily available devices, so that would be my guess, as I don't recall any such thing the last time I checked on Windows 10 (which, admittedly, was a while ago, a couple of Windows FU ago, and on a non-secure boot machine).
