Just to let you know. I tried to use the packages for KOReader & Plato on Elipsa. But it didn't work.
Two problems:
* When I clicked on the Nickel menu item I got a message "Config Error"
* Using `Preventing Nickel from scanning hidden directories` config items also didn't work. Kobo indexed all icons and images from the hidden folders

1. Is perfectly normal, the Elipsa runs on an entirely new SoC, with truly awful API designs for what we care about (hell, it's so gnarly even Nickel got some non-critical bits of it wrong). It'll be ready when it's ready.

2. That, on the other hand, is a PEBCAK (e.g., you didn't use the script and forgot the config editing part).

I used the script (from Linux) and got the same issue.
The following lines are now present in my `Kobo eReader.conf`:

[FeatureSettings]
ExcludeSyncFolders=(\\.(?!kobo|adobe).+|([^.][^/]*/)+\\..+)

EDIT: Nevermind, afret reconnecting it again, the issue disappeared. I still have hidden Icons in my "My Books" and "Unknown Author" sections, but actual books no longer contain this.

Apologies if this has been covered; I did search.

I am a brand new Clara HD user wishing to use the one click installation of all 3 components.

Should any one of these be updated individually, will you release an updated one click zip that incorporates it? Perhaps we will have to install the update manually ourselves?

If the firmware changes, can I confirm we need to reinstall the one click package?

Does reinstallation overwrite any user configuration settings (i.e. do we need to reconfigure each package)?

Thanks for providing the installation.

The packages are updated as soon as any of the components are updated (time willing). KOReader offers an in-app OTA update mechanism that's perfectly compatible. Updates preserve user configurations. And a FW update will require reinstalling KFMon.

Ok thanks. Although installing is one click, what is the process for uninstalling?

I guess these go into standalone sub-directories that can be deleted individually. I.e. there is no deletion of individual files mixed in with standard Kobo files.

I am sorry to ask you about uninstalling other folks' software but I hope the answer is standalone subdirectories!

For NickelMenu, the only one is /usr/local/Kobo/imageformats/libnm.so. KFMon is /usr/local/kfmon, /usr/bin/kfmon-ipc, /etc/udev/rules.d/99-kfmon.rules, and some edits to /etc/init.d/on-animator.sh.
