Right. I'll add this feature in the next versions.

I just made the same changes that the sudoku.js and fiveballs.js, but always these applications (mahjong o bookswap) brick the reader and i don't know what's the reason because i read on other forums that some people have the same problem. have you probe in your reader and the result is successfull?

Ok, I just found out.
Guess I use the tortoise thingy for uploading the files and will do the rest within the web-interface.

I won't include bookswap, sorry. llasram is a great guy, actually his bookswap pushed me to start this project and without the sources he pointed me to there wouldn't be any PRS+, but if I include it, it would lead to weird side effects (some sys internals, hard to explain in two words).

Regarding mahjong, give me the link and I'd probably merge it myself.

Ok, this works. How do I "delete" old stuff? I tried something like uncommitting or so, but the file is still there.

You have to explicitly tell the version control system that you want to delete file. There should be some menu option in toroise.
The same goes to renaming, use mercurial to rename/move files/folders.

And last, but not least, there is NO WAY to delete forever ANYTHING that you push to the server. Even if you delete it, old version will still be available. So be carefull, not to upload stuff, you don't want others to see...

what's the functions of the sanbox kartun and key binding, because if i have these files or not in the reader I don't see any difference.

1) my nick is kartu, not kartun

2) sandbox is my playground and was included by mistake and key bindings shipped with the release have no function at the moment.

I've followed the instructions precisely and keep getting the same message whatever I do: Sorry, this firmware version is not supported: 505.1.1.00.18040

I've installed database on internal memory, igorsk and new_opt.img on SD card (tried more than 1, all formatted FAT). Dismounted my 505 from computer pressed 4 and then message as above. Tried several times including a reformat of internal memory. About shows my version as 1.1.00.18040. The reader hasn't changed and still works as usual. Only change is to contents of Pictures folder... now got labels, labels, skinMain and skinMain (game graphics)

Any suggestions

Other than the files mentioned in the Installation Guide, I had to delete everything on the SD card and in the IM in order for the flash to work.

Thanks for the thought but did that... and reformatted at a later attempt.

Edit: Solved it... always the silly things that get you... I put flasher-igorsk on the SD card as the entire folder... when I put the contents of the folder in the root instead it worked fine except that by then I'd upset the reader a bit and it got into a restart/firmware didn't update loop but easily solved by reflashing with Sony's updater. PRSPlus flash then worked perfectly... great, now preparing first test card of books by folder with .noscan

I've installed this mains.xml (http://rapidshare.com/files/327900270/main.xml.html) in my reader to change the language of the name of the original menus when i press 1 in menu about. I've tried to make something similar to translate the name of the menus of clock, browse folder and utils (press 1 in menu about) but when i flash the reader with this modifications is bricked. do you have any idea how to make to change the language of this new menus?

Guys, reformatting SD card shouldn't be needed. Only folders that belong to igorsk's flasher. (this includes 505.xxx folders, I don't remember if it is mentioned in the manual, probably not).

I plan to add localization feature in the future, probably Jan - Feb 2010.

Add the same time I would NOT recommend installing any additional hacks (besides replacing fonts) together with PRS+. If you want to have some feature, just ask for it on feature request page:
