I believe this version fixes John Maverick's issue without breaking anything else.

I had tested this version and there isn't any multiple downloading of the same novel when input multiple chapter urls from the same novel both for adding a new novel or updating an existing one.

The only "remaining" of the issue is that if the novel doesn't need to be updated, FFF informs in the log / register (I have Calibre in Spanish so I don't know how this button is called in the english locale) multiple times that the novel already have the same number of chapters than the site. One time for every chapter url.

I can totally live with that.

FanFiction.net went and broke a lot of the cover/profile images.

If you have any fanfics from that site with cover art, I suggest disabling "update ePub cover" to prevent them from getting overwritten with generated covers.

Not sure that ffnet won't change back again--it looks broken, not changed to me.

Also not sure that this fixes the cases ownedbycats found, but it did address the ones I found.

I have seen the error post on github. But my error is not like that = ((it says like this (see picture).) All the wattpad links I tried were not working.

All I see in that is the normal "0 successful, 1 failed" proceed dialog.

The best way to get detail information if you think your problem is different, is to run Calibre in debug more (under Calibre's Preferences drop down), attempt a download, then quit Calibre and it should open the debug log file automatically and you can paste that into a post here (wrap it [code] tags).

Can anyone else confirm that 2020-11-19 test version broke drag and dropping? Both Mozilla Thunderbird message list and browser fails.

Nothing has changed in FFF's code for drag and drop since the last release.

I just reverted to the stable version and it still doesn't work. I did do a Windows Update (kb4586781) a day or two ago. I wonder if that broke it.

That's consistent with what I suggested in #599: "Usually, waiting a few days will clear it if you were blocked for "too much" traffic. If you can change your out facing IP, or access via a different network or a VPN, you can frequently get around these blocks, but not always."

Addendum to #599 - If you have access to your modem, turning it off for a minute or two and then turning it back on might help. It depends on your ISP though (static/dynamic IPs, lease times, etc).

It was a shell extension I use. Apparently the recent Windows Update caused it to break some instances of drag-and-drop between applications. I updated it and it's working again.
